Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website and the enquiry forms available on it. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to them.

Effective date: 7 September 2026Last updated: 7 September 2026

This is an informational website. It is not a marketplace, a public directory or a bidding platform, and it does not provide user-to-user messaging, ratings or public profiles.

01

About this website

Visiting Faculty publishes information about its faculty and training network and provides private forms through which faculty can register their interest and institutions and organisations can describe a requirement. All submissions are handled privately by us. Nothing you submit is published on the website.

02

No public directory or search

The website does not offer a searchable faculty directory, public profiles, ratings, reviews or direct communication between users. Faculty details and institution requirements are used internally to identify suitable matches and are shared only as described in our privacy policy.

03

Enquiries are not guaranteed engagements

Submitting a form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, a booking, an offer, an assurance of work or a guarantee of any outcome.

  • Registering as faculty does not guarantee selection, referral, engagement, payment or availability of opportunities.
  • Submitting a requirement does not guarantee that suitable faculty will be identified, available or willing to accept it.
  • Any engagement, its scope, timing, fees and terms are settled separately between the parties concerned.

04

No employment or agency relationship

Registering with us does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between you and Visiting Faculty, and does not make you our employee, representative or authorised agent. You may not describe yourself as such.

05

Accuracy of information you submit

You confirm that the information and documents you submit are accurate, current and yours to share, and that they do not infringe anyone's rights or breach any obligation of confidentiality. We may decline, correct or remove a submission that appears inaccurate, misleading or improperly obtained.

06

Acceptable use

When using this website, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory or offensive content.
  • Submit another person's personal data or CV without their authorisation.
  • Use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages or recruitment spam.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its forms, its storage or its underlying systems.
  • Scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract content from the site.
  • Interfere with the availability, security or integrity of the site.

07

Intellectual property

The Visiting Faculty name, logo, page text, layout, design system and other site content are protected by applicable intellectual property law and may not be copied, reproduced or reused without written permission. Content you submit remains yours; by submitting it you allow us to use it for the purposes described in our privacy policy.

08

The site may link to third-party websites, such as a professional profile you provide. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Visiting Faculty is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website, from any enquiry submitted through it, or from any engagement or arrangement between faculty and an institution or organisation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
