Cookie Policy

A plain-language explanation of the browser technologies this website uses — and the ones it does not.

Effective date: 7 September 2026Last updated: 7 September 2026

01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device through your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which allow a website to remember information in your browser. These technologies are widely used to make websites function, to keep them secure, and — on many sites — to measure audiences or deliver advertising.

This policy explains what visitingfaculty.com actually uses today. We describe only technologies that are present in the current website code, and we will update this page if that changes.

02

What this website currently uses

This website is an informational resource with private enquiry and registration forms. It is not a marketplace, has no public profiles or directory, and does not run audience measurement or advertising programmes.

  • Strictly necessary technologies. The site relies on standard browser behaviour and server responses required to deliver pages to you — for example, serving pages securely over HTTPS and routing your requests. These are essential to the operation of the website.
  • Form input you type yourself. Information you enter into our forms is processed when you submit it. The site does not use cookies to pre-fill, profile or track your form activity.

We do not use any cookie or storage mechanism to identify you across visits, to build a profile of your browsing, or to follow you to other websites.

03

What this website does not use

As at the date of this policy, visitingfaculty.com does not use:

  • Analytics cookies or scripts (for example, third-party website analytics services).
  • Advertising cookies, marketing pixels or retargeting tags.
  • Social-media tracking pixels or embedded third-party widgets that set their own cookies.
  • Any non-essential cookie requiring a consent banner under applicable law.

Because no non-essential cookies are in use, the site does not display a cookie consent banner. If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential technology in the future, we will update this policy and present appropriate choices before such technologies are set.

04

Third-party services

Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts to display our typography. When your browser fetches these font files, Google's servers receive a standard technical request (including your IP address), which is governed by Google's own privacy policies. We do not receive tracking information from this service, and it is not used by us to identify or profile you.

Our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may set strictly necessary cookies or headers for security, load balancing and reliable delivery of pages. These do not track you for analytics or advertising purposes.

05

How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View the cookies stored on your device and delete them individually or entirely.
  • Block all cookies, or block cookies from specific websites.
  • Clear cookies automatically when you close the browser.
  • Browse in a private or incognito mode that discards cookies when the session ends.

Because this site sets no non-essential cookies, blocking cookies will not diminish your experience. Refer to your browser's help section for instructions specific to your device and browser.

06

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies the website uses or in applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, as applicable and as brought into force from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
