Grievance Redressal
A single, practical route for raising a concern about your personal data, a submission you made, or your use of this website.
Write to info@visitingfaculty.com with the subject line "Grievance". This is the contact point for all complaints and data-related requests.
01
What you can raise here
- A request to access, correct, update or delete personal data you submitted.
- Withdrawal of consent previously given through one of our forms.
- A concern about how your CV or profile document has been handled or shared.
- A concern about content published on this website.
- Any other complaint about your interaction with us through this website.
02
What to include
So that we can identify your record and respond usefully, please include:
- Your name and the email address you used when submitting the form.
- Which form your request relates to — faculty registration, institution requirement, or general contact.
- The approximate date of your submission, if you remember it.
- A clear description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking.
We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, particularly where it involves deletion or disclosure of personal data.
03
How complaints are handled
We acknowledge complaints received by email and review them in the order received. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to resolve straightforward requests, such as correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent, promptly. Where a matter needs more investigation, we will tell you and keep you informed.
Complaints involving personal data are handled in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as applicable and as brought into force from time to time.
04
If you are not satisfied
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may reply to us setting out why, so the matter can be reviewed again. Where the law provides for it, you may also escalate a data-protection grievance to the competent authority once the relevant provisions are in force.
05
Scope
This mechanism covers our own handling of your data and your use of this website. It does not cover disputes between faculty and an institution or organisation about an engagement, which the parties concerned should resolve between themselves under their own arrangements.
